Workshops/Teaching
I am on faculty at Grub Street, a great non-profit writing center in Boston. I will be teaching at Grub in Fall 2011--watch this site for more details.
On June 18, 2011 I'll be teaching a one day memoir workshop--"Our Lives in the Middle Ages," which focuses on using the aging process as material for creative non-fiction writing. Check out grubstreet.org to register.
I'm teaching a four week memoir-writing workshop at Medford Public Library in Medford Square. The class will meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:45, beginning on Wednesday June 1. Call the library at 781-395-7950 to sign up.
I will be teaching a full weekend workshop, "Finding Your Own Place" at Easton Mountain, a retreat center for gay men, April 20-22, 2012. The workshop is for gay and bisexual men at all levels of writing experience. Check out the Easton website at:
Easton Mountain for more information. If you sign up in summer 2011, you can get a 20% discount off the cost of the workshop.
I work with writers one-one, on memoir projects and personal essays. My rates are reasonable and my schedule is flexible. Email me for more details, or contact me at 617-466-9637.
